Remote Internet Connect简化了从其它运行操作系统的机子上将一个Linux系统连接到Internet的过程。用户可以用一个简单的GUI加快连接、断开连接、或查看谁在线上。

Know bugs  
----------

- Java client with win98/win98se (and probably win95) they don't show 
  the systray icon. When they minimize RIC they lose it from the screen.

  A workaround for RIC v1 is that you rename/remove the DLL in the directory. 
  You will not hava the icon but you won't lose RIC anymore.  
  
  With RIC2 simply go to settings menu and deselected hide from taskbar.

- Bug fix - When a connection was lost, the systray icon was not updated correctly.(for all RIC2 version)
- When a some one closed RIC while having a internet connection other RIC user would see wrong systray colors.(for all RIC2 version)
- The test parameter now also works with -test
- When the server is in test mode user will get a messages that no real connection will be made
- When you press refresh the detail screen will be showed (if it was hidden)
- When you RIC client can't connect to the server the datail screen will be showed.
- When the connection is lost to the RIC server, the client will reconnect automaticly.

- The source has been improved again, the layout of all the files have been improved. 
  The source, class, graphics, config and audio files are put in sub directorys.

- a parameter wich tells were the config file stands has been edit to the RIC client. 
  Now you can put RIC on a shared resource. Easy for updating and shared audio files.
