WINDRIVER ADS8260 BSP

                 README: Motorola MPC8260 ADS (ads8260)

This file contains board-specific information for the Motorola MPC8260 ADS
target board.  Specifically, this file contains information on any BSP
interface changes from previous software or hardware versions, and
contains caveats that the user must be aware of before using this BSP.
Additionally, the target board's reference entry (i.e., 'man ads8260')
provides board-specific information necessary to run VxWorks, and
should be read before this BSP is used.

RELEASE 1.2/3

    Added support for 33 MHz and 66 MHz system oscillators.
    Enabled caches and set mode to Copy Back.

    Reading the Hard Reset Configuration Word from Flash
    was not tested in this release.

    This release may not run on ENGINEERING revisions of the
    XPC8260 device.

    This release may not run on ENG revisions of the ADS8260.

    Updated for board revision PILOT
    changed bsp name from "vads8260" to "ads8260"

    MMU and cache support added but may not work in all hardware

    First release for Tornado 2.0.

    Source code for the Ethernet driver is included in this Alpha EAR
    but will not be included in the Beta or FCS products. In the Beta 
    and FCS products the driver will be released in object form only.
