For example, the (virtual) PUSH instruction takes an arbitray argument and produces the appropiate code at dump time (ICONST, LDC, BIPUSH, ...). Also you can use the SWITCH instruction as a useful template for either LOOKUPSWITCH or TABLESWITCH.
