broker und gatherd Startup-Skripte fuer RedHat Linux 7.2. Diese sind
nach:

    /etc/init.d/broker
    /etc/init.d/gatherd

zu kopieren. Bei RedHat ist dann noch einmal

    # /sbin/chkconfig --add broker
    # /sbin/chkconfig --add gatherd

aufzurufen, damit die Links fuer die Runlevel gesetzt werden. Fertig.

Der periodische Aufruf des/der Gatherer kann ueber die crontab
erfolgen. Die folgende Datei ist nur nach /etc/cron.d zu kopieren,
dann wird jeden Tag beginnend um 00:01 Uhr ein neuer Suchlauf der/des
Gatherers gestartet. Jede Stunde ein anderer Gatherer.

    /etc/init.d/gatherd

For RedHat you have to do:

    # /sbin/chkconfig --add broker
    # /sbin/chkconfig --add gatherd

to set up the links for the runlvels.

You can use the cron table to periodically invoke gatherer. Read the
comments in the crontab for more information.
