 Windows NT protocol stacks such as TCP/IP are implemented as kernel mode
 transport drivers. These drivers are all written to expose a common upper
 edge network programming interface known as the Transport Data
 Interface (TDI). An a sense, TDI is the "native" Windows NT networking
 interface.

 A TDI Client is kernel mode driver uses the TDI interface to exercise the
 services of NT protocol stacks. A major goal of these samples is to
 illustrate how to add TDI Client functionality into your own NT driver.

 In addition, the Advanced TDI Samples include a PassThru TDI Filter sample.
 This sample provides the filter hook functions that you can extend to filter
 UDP and TCP below the Winsock level.

 Microsoft provides documentation of TDI, and this documentation is
 essentially correct. However, the documentation is written for the advanced
 programmer and is easily misinterpreted. There is a great need for companion
 sample code as an adjunct to the documentation.
