Rom Backup Tool for PPC, be sure to backup all data before use this tools

1. Backup your O2 XDA II with either SD Backup, XBackup or ActiveSync's backup to preserve your files, settings & data.

2. Go into bootloader mode (hold Power Button + Directional Pad + Reset Button) and put your XDAII into it's USB cradle.
(NOTE: bootloader mode is the same as a cold reset, all personal data and settings will be cleared)

3. Insert a blank 32MB SD Card into your XDAII (recommend minimum 64MB)

4. Run "romupdate.exe"

5. Connect to port: \\.\WCEUSBSH001 then press enter to get to the USB> prompt

6. To backup WinCE ROM, Radio ROM, and Extended ROM, issue and wait for each of the following separate commands to complete:

don't cut & paste, type in manually

d2s 80000000 02000000

d2s 60000000 00300000 sd a

d2s 70000000 01080000 sd a

End result, you'll have an image on your SD Card that will autoload from bootloader mode to restore your ROMS to their original state.

NOTE: the card will have to be re-formatted when you no longer have a need for the ROM backup.
