<p class="i3field">To install the server, simply run setup.exe from the installation CD. When prompted, enter the install location, license key (optional), and port number for the web server. Make note of the port number because it will be needed to access the internal web pages for configuration. The web address will be http://your.IP.address:port/, where your.IP.address is the IP address of the machine running the Interaction SIP Proxy. The default username and password is admin and 1234, respectively.</p>

<p class="i3comment"><span class="i3title">Security recommendation:</span> After installation, immediately change the username and password from the Administration tab on the web server configuration pages. This will prevent unauthorized access to your configuration settings.</span></p>

<p class="i3field"><span class="i3title">Running as a console application</span></p>
<p class="i3field"> </p>
<p class="i3field">To run the proxy server as a console application, simply click on the Interaction SIP Proxy icon on the desktop or selecting Interactive Intelligence->Interaction SIP Proxy from within the Start menu. An application console window will appear for 3 seconds and then it will minimize itself. Inside the console application window is the web address used to access the configuration web pages. Enter the address into a web browser to begin configuration.</p>

<p class="i3field"><span class="i3title">Running as a Windows Service</span></p>
<p class="i3field"> </p>
<p class="i3field">By default, the install program will create a Windows Service entry for the Interaction SIP Proxy. As a Windows Service, users can manager the startup behavior of the proxy via the Services section of the Computer Management console interface. The default is to start the proxy automatically when the server is started..</p>
