This needs to be configured in the <tt class= "filename">/etc/sysconfig/network</tt> file. </p> <p> Create the <tt class="filename">/etc/sysconfig/network</tt> file and enter a hostname by running: </p> <pre class="userinput"><kbd class="command">echo "HOSTNAME=<em class="replaceable"><tt>[lfs]</tt></em>" > /etc/sysconfig/network</kbd></pre> <p> <em class="replaceable"><tt>[lfs]</tt></em> needs to be replaced with the name given to the computer.
