Uses regular expresions to find and replace ocurrences into an string. <pre> FindReplace f = new FindReplace("this string will be changed"); f.replaceAll("([ae])", "(\\1)"); // f.toString() will return "this string will b(e) ch(a)ng(e)d" f.replaceAll("string", "phrase"); // f.toString() will return "this phrase will b(e) ch(a)ng(e)d" </pre> As you see in this example, the returned string is composed by the amount of replacements. So, while describing the methods, I will refer to the returned string as the "actual string". In the first call to the replaceAll method, the substitution string is "(\\1)". A backslash followed by a number will refer to a subexpression in the regular expression.
