The last three chapters of the book focus on algorithms,
rather than data structures.
Chapter <A HREF="page440.html#chapalgorithms" tppabs="http://dictator.uwaterloo.ca/Bruno.Preiss/books/opus4/html/page440.html#chapalgorithms"><IMG ALIGN=BOTTOM ALT="gif" SRC="cross_ref_motif.gif" tppabs="http://dictator.uwaterloo.ca/Bruno.Preiss/books/opus4/icons/cross_ref_motif.gif"></A> is an overview of various algorithmic patterns.
By introducing the notion of an abstract problem solver,
we show how many of the patterns are related.
Chapter <A HREF="page483.html#chapsorting" tppabs="http://dictator.uwaterloo.ca/Bruno.Preiss/books/opus4/html/page483.html#chapsorting"><IMG ALIGN=BOTTOM ALT="gif" SRC="cross_ref_motif.gif" tppabs="http://dictator.uwaterloo.ca/Bruno.Preiss/books/opus4/icons/cross_ref_motif.gif"></A> uses a similar approach
to present various sorting algorithms.
I.e., we introduce the notion of an abstract sorter
and show how the various sorting algorithms are related.

of graphs an graph algorithms.
This chapter brings together various algorithmic techniques from
