speech signal process tools

Program : einfo(1)
Purpose : view ESPS/waves+ technical bulletins and release notes.

The top panel contains simple action buttons that are invoked by 
a left mouse click: 

 How to use einfo...  - displays this file

 Run Entropic Demos   - brings up a new panel from which various
                        demos can be run.  You need to have an ESPS 
                        license checked out for the demos to run properly.  

 Entropic Root Window - sets the background to the Entropic background.
			see elogo(1) for more info.

The middle panel contains a simple action button and a selection button: 

 QUIT      - quit einfo.

 Program   - toggle between viewing and printing documents that 
             can be selected from the bottom panel

The bottom panel contains action menu buttons for different classes of
documents.  Use the right mouse button to pull down the menu.
Releasing the mouse over a selected item causes the (view or print)
action selected in the middle panel to be invoked on the named
document.

NOTE:  if printing doesn't work...

The "Print File" button uses elpr(1) to print.  If you print and nothing
comes out check out the elpr(1) man page and setup environment variable
ELPR as your system needs it.

einfo is a simple example of the X Interface Generation (XIG) capabilities
of ESPS and xwaves+.  If you look in $ESPS_BASE/bin/einfo, you'll see 
that the meat of it is essentially the shell command

 fbuttons -F einfofil.BM -S einfocom.BM -M einfo.BM &

where the options specify a simple ASCII file for each of three panels. 
You can find the files in $ESPS_BASE/lib/menus.
