The sampling frequency is assumed to be 8000 samples/second. The program _a_d_d_g_e_n (1 - ESPS) can be used to change the ESPS header value (_r_e_c_o_r_d__f_r_e_q) if the data has a different sampling frequency. If _i_n_f_i_l_e is replaced by "-", _m_u_2_e_s_p_s will read from stan- dard input, and if _o_u_t_f_i_l_e is replaced by "-", standard out- put is written.OOOOPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNNSSSS The following options are supported: ----ssss This option is only available on SUN platforms. It indicates _i_n_f_i_l_e has a SUNOS 4.1 audio file header. This causes _m_u_2_e_s_p_s to skip the header before reading and converting the data. ----xxxx _d_e_b_u_g__l_e_v_e_l If _d_e_b_u_g__l_e_v_e_l is positive, _m_u_2_e_s_p_s prints diagnostic messages.
