.lo.ce 2.bWaves+ Source DirectoryDocument version: @(#)wsource.me 1.1 7/19/90.sh 1 "Using the Waves+ Source".ppThe \fIwaves+\fR source directory contains the source for \fIwaves+\fR,(both Suntools and X version), \fIformant\fR, \fIcmap\fR,\fIdspsgram\fR, \fIwrecord\fR, and \fIwplay\fR. To compile any ofthese go down into the desired source directory and do:.ft CW.spemake .sp.ft R.ppA few of the directories (\fIwaves\fR, \fIformant\fR, and \fIlibsig\fR)have makefiles that depend on which window system you are compilingfor. There are three makefiles: \fImakefile\fR, \fIsunview.mk\fR, and\fIxview.mk\fR. The main makefile tries to compile using both sunviewand xview makefiles. Only one or both may succeed. You can force maketo use one or the other by:.ft CW.spemake -f xview.mk or emake -f sunview.mk.sp.ft R.ppIn order to compile the X windows version of \fIwaves+\fR, you must havethe Sun XView toolkit installed. (You can either build this from publicdomain sources, or get a binary distribution from Sun.) This versionof the sources must be compiled and linked under Versin 1.0.1 of XView.
