.SH "DESCRIPTION"
\fIsdtofea\fP converts an old SD file
header (SD (5\-\s-1ESPS\s+1)) 
to a FEA_SD (5\-\s-1ESPS\s+1) file header. 
\fIhd\fP must be a SD (5\-\s-1ESPS\s+1) header, and
\fIsdtofea\fP returns a FEA (5\-\s-1ESPS\s+1)
header with the subtype FEA_SD (5\-\s-1ESPS\s+1) set.
New programs that read
and use the FEA_SD file type, can use \fIsdtofea\fP
to make the new programs 
compatible with old sampled data (SD) files.
The \fIsf\fP header item is converted to \fIrecord_freq\fP;
all other type-specific SD header items are converted to generic header
items in the new FEA_SD header.
