.I Reverse_sd
takes sampled data from 
.I input_sd,
reverses it in time and outputs the results as ESPS SD file
.I output_sd.  
If the \fB\-r\fP option is not used, the entire file is processed.

If "\-" is supplied in place of 
.I output.sd,
standard output is used.  Standard input may not be used for 
.I input.sd.

The following options are supported:

Selects a subrange of points from 
.I input.sd
using the format 
.I start\-end,
.IR start:end,
or
.IR start:+delta .
Either

or 
.I end
may be omitted, in which case the omitted parameter defaults respectively
to the start or end of 
.I input.sd
The first recored in 
.I input.sd
is considered to be point 1, regardless of its position relative to any
original source file.  The form 
.I start:+delta
is equivalent to 
.I start:(start+delta).  
If the \fB\-p\fP option is not used the
range is determined from the ESPS Common file if the appropriate
parameters are present (see ESPS COMMON).  Otherwise the default
range is the entire input file

The parameter file is not read.

It the \fB\-p\fP option is not used, the parameters

(starting point) and 
.I nan
(number of points) are read from ESPS Common if they exist and 
if the Common parameter

If 
.I output.sd
is not standard output, the Common parameters 
.I "filename, prog, start,"
and
.I nan
are written to correspond to the entire output file.

.I Reverse_sd
creates the header of 
.I output.sd 
by using
.I copy_header
(3\-ESPS).  The command line is added as a comment, and
.I hd.sd->type->equip
is set to NONE.  A comment is added to show which points from the 
input file were reversed.  
.SH "LIMITATIONS"

The input file cannot be standard input.  Memory is allocated to 
contain the entire segment that is to be reversed; hence, reversing 
a large file may be slow or may fail if memory is short.
