The sort does not physically rearrange the list, but modifies the link
field to show the sorted order.
<font color="#FF0000">three methods:</font>
1, 2 ~ require linked list representations
3 ~ an auxiliary table that indirectly references the
list's records.
(1) <font color="#FF0000">linked list representation
<font color="#000000"> st</font></font>art points to the record that contains the smallest key.
link field points to the record with the second smallest key , and
so on.
<font color="#0033CC"> 1. </font>interchange records R0 and Rstart
<font color="#0033CC"> 2.<font color="#000000"> find the record that contained a 0 in its link field, and</font>
</font> change this record's link field to pointer to start
