This page contains software I have written for research purposes, which may be of interest to other researchers in the field.

Major packages written for research purposes:

Regular Density Evolution version 0.1.1 - March 14, 2003
This package contains MATLAB scripts which implement Richardson and Urbanke's density evolution technique to find the ultimate performance of LDPC codes in memoryless channels.

Regular LDPC Codes version 0.1 - January 30, 2003
This package contains programs to generate a regular LDPC code parity check matrix and decode the code in a binary symmetric channel.

Some short routines that may be useful to other engineers:

perm.c - Generates a random permutation of a vector of integers. 
hist.c - A program to generate a histogram from random data, for use in a pipe 
ge_cap.m - MATLAB script to calculate the capacity of a given Gilbert-Elliott channel.
