Copyright (GPL)  2004  Mike Chirico mmc mchirico@users.sourceforge.net mchirico@comcast.netThe following commands will compile and run the samples:  make  make test  sqlite3 test3.db < script1apiSQLite.c   This is for sqlite version 2.x     Example usage:         $ ./apiSQLite test.db "create table test2 (pkey INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, note text)"         $ ./apiSQLite test.db "insert into test2 (note) values ('sample data 1') "         $ ./apiSQLite test.db "insert into test2 (note) values ('sample data 3') "         $ ./apiSQLite test.db "select * from test2"apiSQLite3.c   This assumes sqlite3 is installed.     Example usage:         $ ./apiSQLite3 test3.db "create table test2 (pkey INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, note text)"         $ ./apiSQLite3 test3.db "insert into test2 (note) values ('sample data 1') "         $ ./apiSQLite3 test3.db "insert into test2 (note) values ('sample data 3') "         $ ./apiSQLite3 test3.db "select * from test2"apiSQLite3b.c     This program is like apiSQLite3.c, except, it uses the following functions               sqlite3_prepare               while( sqlite3_step == SQLITE_ROW)                  sqlite3_column_*      The sqlite3_step function step through each row as long as SQLITE_ROW is     returned. Also included in this program is the getline function, so the     program can be used as follows           $ ./apiSQLite3b.c database.db < script0eatblob.c     This program demonstrates the "sqlite3_bind_blob", "sqlite3_column_blob" and     "sqlite3_column_bytes" functions.     It can be run as follows. Note ">" is the output from the program.             $ ./eatblob test3.db test.png   	     create table test (a varchar(50), b blob);                           	    >Total Changes 0                                                      	     insert into test (a,b) values ('test',?);                            	    >Total Changes 1                                                            	     select a,b from test;                                                    	    >IN BLOB bytes 5552                                                   	    >test                                                                   	    >Total Changes 1                                                      	     ^D                                                                        This will write the blob data to outdata.0.png, outdata.1.png .. outdata.n.png where     "n" is the number of blob rows returned.     SPECIAL NOTE:  If you have gnuplot version 4, the following will generate a png                    file automatically.                           $ gnuplot gnuplot.scr                                 And                           $ gnuplot gnuplot2.scr                    For an excellent article reference:                      http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-gnuplot/createImgTable     This bash script will easily do the following:       create table imagedata (pkey integer primary key,des varchar(100), img blob, timeEnter date);        CREATE TRIGGER imagedata_timeEnter_trigger AFTER INSERT ON imagedata             BEGIN                UPDATE imagedata SET timeEnter = DATETIME('NOW')  WHERE rowid = new.rowid;             END;
