clearown \- clears "ownership" of the TPM device
.SH SYNOPSIS

clearown <owner password>

     
.SH DESCRIPTION
The \fBclearown\fP command is used to remove an existing owner of a TPM.
A power-cycle of the machine will be required after this command
is used, before the TPM can be used again.  The existing owner password and
Storage Root key are deleted.  Any keys that are children of the SRK, or
lower in the key hierarchy are no longer usable.  This command should
be used with caution.
.SH ARGUMENTS
.TP 5
owner password
is any character string, up to 256 bytes long. It must be the password
specified when the TPM ownership was taken.
