<p>This is a version 1.0 font variations table (described
in detail in Apple's TT Specification). The primary purpose of this table
is to supply data for presentation to the user in some kind of font selection
dialog. It contains axis and instance UI information.

<p>Each axis specifies the following information:

<UL>
<LI>a tag that identifies the axis type, e.g. 'wght'.
<LI>minimum user coordinate
<LI>default user coordinate
<LI>maximum user coordinate
<LI>an axis name specified as a name table id (to be used in UI)
</UL>

<p>Each instance specifies the following information:

<UL>
<LI>instance name specified as a name table id (to be used in UI)
<LI>instance user coordinates
</UL>
