<h1>Importing and Saving Data</h1>
<p>DataLoad V4 can read and write two types of files; DataLoad and tab delimited
files. Tab delimited files contain data records where fields are separated by
tabs and records by carriage returns. These files are portable between many
applications and are a good way to bring large amounts of data into DataLoad.
DataLoad also has a native file format which will save all your delays, window
name, datasheet headings and the description, etc, for you. When saving your
work it is recommended the DataLoad format is used unless the file must be read
by other applications. The DataLoad format is designed to be backwardly
compatible. That is, a file in DataLoad format can be read by any version of
DataLoad regardless of which version created it.</p>
