<tr><td><font color=white>除了XF86Setup之外，XFree86还提供了另一个交互式的设置程序xf86config。使用xf86config来配置X服务器是一个比较繁琐的过程，因为X的配置过程本来就比较复杂，而xf86config使用命令行交互方式，不能向后返回前一步的设置，因此一旦出现失误，就没有机会进行纠正，只能重新启动xf86config再次进行设置。正因为如此，一般情况下不必使用这个设置程序对X Window进行设置，而应该使用更容易使用的XF86Setup。只有在特定的情况下，才需要使用xf86config。<br><br> 当然进行XFree86的设置，所使用的概念是相同的，因此只要详细了解了计算机的显示硬件，并有足够的细心和耐心，使用xf86config 同样也能成功的完成设置任务。<br><br></font></td></tr>
