It is
designed with all kinds of embedded applications in mind - small ones with
little memory, slow CPUs and small LCDs as well as time-critical ones with
or without operating systems such as <b><font color="#FF0000">礐/OS-II</font></b>.
It has a very modern design, consisting of different layers in different
modules. One layer - called the LCD-driver - covers all access to the LCD.
Segger offers LCD-drivers for all available monochrome LCD-controllers,
for any LCD and any resolution. <b><a href="javascript:if(confirm('http://www.segger.com/indexemwingsc.html \n\nThis file was not retrieved by Teleport Pro, because it is addressed on a domain or path outside the boundaries set for its Starting Address. \n\nDo you want to open it from the server?'))window.location='http://www.segger.com/indexemwingsc.html'" tppabs="http://www.segger.com/indexemwingsc.html">emWin GSC</a></b> works with just about ANY
CPU because it is written in 100% ANSI-"C".
<h3>emWin GSC now supports touch screens.</h3>
Touch screen support for <b><a href="javascript:if(confirm('http://www.segger.com/indexemwingsc.html \n\nThis file was not retrieved by Teleport Pro, because it is addressed on a domain or path outside the boundaries set for its Starting Address. \n\nDo you want to open it from the server?'))window.location='http://www.segger.com/indexemwingsc.html'" tppabs="http://www.segger.com/indexemwingsc.html">emWin GSC</a></b> is now available. This includes
a low level driver, which handles the analog input (from an 8 bit or
better AD-converter), debouncing and calibration of the touch screen. The
window manager deals with touch messages and widgets such as button
objects. It takes no more than one line of code to create a button or
other widget, which then automatically handles touch messages and reacts
accordingly. The widgets have different attributes, which makes them very
flexible. Because in most cases the default attributes are fine, they are
easy to use. Of course the touch screen support is written in plain
ANSI-"C".
<h3 align="left">Font converter and editor</h3>
<p>Using Segger's new font converter and editor you can convert any font
available on your Windows-PC into a "C"-file which can be
compiled and linked with your application. This way the font can be
displayed on your LCD using <b><a href="javascript:if(confirm('http://www.segger.com/indexemwingsc.html \n\nThis file was not retrieved by Teleport Pro, because it is addressed on a domain or path outside the boundaries set for its Starting Address. \n\nDo you want to open it from the server?'))window.location='http://www.segger.com/indexemwingsc.html'" tppabs="http://www.segger.com/indexemwingsc.html">emWin GSC</a></b>. Proportional fonts are
supported, fonts for foreign languages can be created the same way.</p>
<h3 align="left">Bitmap converter</h3>
<p>Using our new bitmap converter you can convert any bitmap into
"C"-code. It supports palette conversion for different LCDs
(monochrome, black and white and color LCDs are supported). You can
display any bitmap in your application on any LCD.<br>

A driver for PC-VGA mode is available. This driver can be used to write
and test the entire user-interface on the PC (all routines are 100%
identical to your embedded application, no matter what CPU or LCD you are
using) and allows screen-shots of the LCD, which can then be inserted into
documentation.
