<i>user</i><b>]</b></code></pre></blockquote><h4><a name = "tag_001_014_2735"> </a>DESCRIPTION</h4><blockquote>The<i>uustat</i>utility displays the status of, or cancels, previously specified<i><a href="uucp.html">uucp</a></i>requests, or provides general status on<i><a href="uucp.html">uucp</a></i>connections to other systems.<p>When no options are given,<i>uustat</i>writes to standard output the status of all<i><a href="uucp.html">uucp</a></i>requests issued by the current user.<p>Typical implementations of this utility require a communicationsline configured to use the <b>XBD</b> specification, <a href="../xbd/termios.html"><b>General Terminal Interface</b> </a> ,but other communications means may be used.On systems where there are no available communications means(either temporarily or permanently), thisutility will write an error message describing the problemand exit with a non-zero exit status.</blockquote><h4><a name = "tag_001_014_2736"> </a>OPTIONS</h4><blockquote>The<i>uustat</i>utility supports the <b>XBD</b> specification, <a href="../xbd/utilconv.html#usg"><b>Utility Syntax Guidelines</b> </a> .The following options are supported:<p><dl compact><dt><b>-q</b><dd>Write the jobs queued for each machine.<dt><b>-k </b><i>jobid</i><dd>Kill the<i><a href="uucp.html">uucp</a></i>request whose job identification is<i>jobid</i>.The killed<i><a href="uucp.html">uucp</a></i>request must belong to the person invoking<i>uustat</i>unless that user has appropriate privileges.<dt><b>-r </b><i>jobid</i><dd>Rejuvenate<i>jobid</i>.The files associated with<i>jobid</i>are touched so thattheir modification time is set to the current time.This prevents the cleanup programfrom deleting the job until the jobs modificationtime reaches the limit imposed by the program.<dt><b>-s </b><i>system</i><dd>Write the status of all<i><a href="uucp.html">uucp</a></i>requests for remote system<i>system</i>.<dt><b>-u </b><i>user</i><dd>Write the status of all<i><a href="uucp.html">uucp</a></i>requests issued by<i>user</i>.</dl></blockquote><h4><a name = "tag_001_014_2737"> compact><dt><i>LANG</i><dd>Provide a default value for the internationalisation variablesthat are unset or null.If<i>LANG</i>is unset or null, the corresponding value from theimplementation-dependent default locale will be used.If any of the internationalisation variables contains an invalid setting, theutility will behave as if none of the variables had been defined.<dt><i>LC_ALL</i><dd>If set to a non-empty string value,override the values of all the other internationalisation variables.<dt><i>LC_CTYPE</i><dd>Determine thelocale for the interpretation of sequences of bytes of text data ascharacters (for example, single- as opposed to multi-byte charactersin arguments).<dt><i>LC_MESSAGES</i><dd>Determine the locale that should be used to affectthe format and contents of diagnosticmessages written to standard error,and informative messages written to standard output.<dt><i>LC_TIME</i><dd>Determine the format of date and time strings output
