In this case<i>lchown()</i>changes the ownership of the symbolic link file itself, while<i><a href="chown.html">chown()</a></i>changes the ownership of the file or directory to which the symbolic linkrefers.</blockquote><h4><a name = "tag_000_007_302"> </a>RETURN VALUE</h4><blockquote>Upon successful completion,<i>lchown()</i>returns 0.
