If <i>pid</i> is equal to 0,<i>getpgid()</i>returns the process group ID of the calling process.</blockquote><h4><a name = "tag_000_005_647">&nbsp;</a>RETURN VALUE</h4><blockquote>Upon successful completion,<i>getpgid()</i>returns a process group ID.
