NOTES: 
There is one difference between the documentation (RIV111-1.3) and the functionality of the function ffs_ftruncate() section 2.10.
Because it not yet is possible to move the file pointer (fp) on a file open in write-mode is fp modified when the file is truncated otherwise would it not be possible to truncate a open file. 
Summary: fp is modified when the file is truncated in this release! It will not be modified in the next one.
