Attached is a "beta" version (called version 0) of my "cleaned up"
version of POM. I've called it "pom2k" where the "2K" is an 
approximation to 2000, 2001 ..... The relevant files are pom2k.f
and the "include" file pom2k.c (pom2k.n includes the netCDF routines). 

Could you have a look over it, run it if you can and give me any 
comments? It is set up to run the seamount problem. If you don't have 
access to netCDF, just delete the 5 calls to subroutine write_netcdf
and the routine itself.

I also attach a set of Matlab routines for plotting the netCDF output
of pom2k -- you may want to put these on your site as well. They are
called POMVIZ and are based heavily on Rich Signell's OMVIZ routines.
I have attached a "zip" and a "tar" file of the complete package-- these
both contain exactly the same files. The file "readme_pomviz" (included
in pomviz.zip and pomviz.tar) provides a brief description of the
routines. The routine plotall.m provides an example of the use of most
of the other routines, and is set up for plotting the results of pom2k
from iproblem=1 (the seamount problem). Note that these routines
require Charles Denham's netCDF Toolbox for Matlab-5/6, available from:

Alternatively, if you would rather not put these plotting routines
on your web site, you could provide a link to them at my own ftp site.
To retrieve the POMVIZ package, users should:

(a) ftp to ftp.antcrc.utas.edu.au

(b) login as "ftp", using your email address as a password

(c) cd pub/johunter/pomviz

(d) Copy across files
