    This template file is an illustration of how one can use the F6 
    key to easily create individual letters.

    The first step is to create your template files using your word
    processor.  Currently, you must create the template in ASCII or 
    TEXT mode with the exception of WordPerfect.  WordPerfect users 
    may create template files in WordPerfect format.

    The template file must end with the extension ".FRM".

    All fields as described in the file "CONTACT.5" are accessible
    to the template file.

    When F6 is pressed in the CONTACT MENU:

        1)  The template files ending with ".FRM" are located in
            the TEMPLATE DIRECTORY and displayed on the screen.

        2)  A new file is created using the template file selected.
            The name of the new file is generated using the first
            8 characters of the contact's last name plus a three
            digit number starting with "001".

        3)  The word processor as specified in the WORD PROCESSOR
            prompt under the SYSTEM PARAMETER MENU is called with the 
            name of the newly created file as an argument:

                wp smith.001

        4)  A record of the template file and file name created is
            stored in the LETTER PAGE of the contact.  There is space
            for the last 15 letters.
