Introduction
------------

NameSwap is a simple program for the Nokia 7650 which swaps the first and last names of all entries in the phone's contacts database. It's useful because the 7650 does not allow the user to display contacts in the usual "<first name> <last name>" format.

If you'd like your contacts to appear as "Joe Bloggs" instead of "Bloggs Joe", this program is for you.

Usage
-----

To use this program, simply install it on your 7650 and run it. Pressing the "Swap" button brings up a menu with two options:

1. You can go through each contact in turn, deciding whether to swap their names or not on an individual basis. This is useful if your contacts have gotten mixed up. Be warned that this can take a long time if you have a lot of contacts!

2. You can swap the first and last names of all contacts at once. Again, this can be a long-running operation. You can cancel it at any time, but this may leave your contacts in a mixed-up state.

Once you have swapped your contacts, you can leave the program by pressing the "Exit" button.

Notes
-----

1. Version 1.02 fixes a bug which could cause a crash when swapping certain contacts.

2. Version 1.01 fixes a bug which could cause the phone to run out of disk space when used with a very large contacts database.

3. Contacts which have a blank first or last name will not have their names swapped.

4. After swapping each name, NameSwap automatically compresses the contacts database.

5. You may wish to swap a contact's names back to the original format before sending the contact to another device.
