MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS 

Below is a list of Minimum System Requirements for this CD.

Windows System Requirements 

* Windows 98, Windows Millenium, Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP 
* PC with a Pentium-class processor; 166 MHz (minimum) Pentium or faster 
  processor. Windows XP requires a 233 MHz (minimum) or faster processor. 
* 64 Mb of RAM. Windows XP requires a minimum of 128 Mb of RAM. 
* 15 MB of free disk space 
* CD-ROM drive 
* Internet Connection - for viewing external links 


This CD contains five appendices from the book and programs (MATLAB, Simulink, 
C, and TMS320C5000 assembly) with their associated data files.  The content 
is listed as follows:
 
* Appendix A Introduction to MATLAB and Simulink
* Appendix B Additional Hands-On Experiments and Applications
* Appendix C Peripheral Programming for Digital Signal Processors
* Appendix D Description of Files on Companion Websites
* Appendix E Useful Websites

The Appendices are in Adobe Acrobat and can be accessed through Adobe Acrobat

Program and data files are grouped into 11 folders (chap1 through chap 9, appA, 
and appB). The title and function of these files are tabulated in Appendix D.

support this book. The use of the Web allows the authors to continuously update
