<strong>Definition:</strong>
An algorithm to merge two <a href="heap.html" tppabs="http://hissa.nist.gov/dads/HTML/heap.html"><em>heaps</em></a> by concatenating the smaller heap to the larger, then reordering just the concatenated  <a href="node.html" tppabs="http://hissa.nist.gov/dads/HTML/node.html"><em>nodes</em></a> and their <a href="parent.html" tppabs="http://hissa.nist.gov/dads/HTML/parent.html"><em>parents</em></a> to restore the heap property.
