<strong>Definition:</strong>
An algorithm to insert a new <a href="node.html" tppabs="http://hissa.nist.gov/dads/HTML/node.html"><em>node</em></a> into a <a href="shadowheap.html" tppabs="http://hissa.nist.gov/dads/HTML/shadowheap.html"><em>shadow heap</em></a>. The new node is placed in the unordered table. When the table grows beyond some threshold size, table  <a href="node.html" tppabs="http://hissa.nist.gov/dads/HTML/node.html"><em>nodes</em></a> and all their <a href="parent.html" tppabs="http://hissa.nist.gov/dads/HTML/parent.html"><em>parents</em></a> are reordered so everything is a heap.
