When the machine enters q<sub>?</sub>, control goes to state q<sub>y</sub> if the oracle tape content is in the <a href="oracleset.html" tppabs="http://hissa.nist.gov/dads/HTML/oracleset.html"><em>oracle set</em></a>; otherwise control goes to state q<sub>n</sub>.
