<P>The TAPIERR_ constants provide information concerning function execution failures.

<DT>TAPIERR_CONNECTED</DT>
<DD>The operation can not be performed while the call state </DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_DESTBUSY</DT>
<DD>The call destination is busy.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_DESTNOANSWER</DT>
<DD>The call destination did not answer.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_DESTUNAVAIL</DT>
<DD>The call destination is not available.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_DEVICECLASSUNAVAIL</DT>
<DD>The device class needed is not available.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_DEVICEIDUNAVAIL</DT>
<DD>The device identifier needed is not available.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_DEVICEINUSE</DT>
<DD>The needed device is in use.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_DROPPED</DT>
<DD>The call was dropped.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_INVALDESTADDRESS </DT>
<DD>The pointer to the destination address is not valid, is NULL, or the destination address string is too long. </DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_INVALDEVICECLASS</DT>
<DD>The device class requested is not valid.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_INVALDEVICEID</DT>
<DD>The device class identifier requested is not valid.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_INVALPOINTER </DT>
<DD>The pointer does not reference a valid memory location. One or more of the pointers <I>lpszDestAddress</I>, <I>lpszAppName</I>, <I>lpszCalledParty</I>, or <I>lpszComment</I> have been specified but are invalid. </DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_INVALWINDOWHANDLE</DT>
<DD>The window handle is not valid.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_NOREQUESTRECIPIENT </DT>
<DD>No recipient application is available to handle the request. The user should start the recipient application and try again. </DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_NOTADMIN</DT>
<DD>The operation requested require admin priviledges.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_REQUESTCANCELLED</DT>
<DD>The assisted telephony request was cancelled.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_REQUESTFAILED </DT>
<DD>The request failed for unspecified reasons. </DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_REQUESTQUEUEFULL </DT>
<DD>A recipient application is active, but the request queue is full or there is insufficient memory to expand the queue. The application can try again later. </DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_UNKNOWNREQUESTID</DT>
<DD>The request identifier referenced is not valid.</DD>
<DT>TAPIERR_UNKNOWNWINHANDLE</DT>
<DD>An unknown window handle was referenced.

<P>Any other TAPIERR_ values are nonfunctional in Win32-based applications and must not be used. </P>
