In this section we will describe the process you will use to add hosts to the GXSNMP database. A host in GXSNMP's term is a collection of interfaces. As you will see a GXSNMP host object can have multiple interfaces. As you already discovered each interface can have its own unique SNMP configuration. </para> <para> When you first go to add a new host to GXSNMP you will be presented with the rather intimidating dialog in <xref linkend=host-dialog-adding.jpg>.
