Title: [ Proverbs of Apocrypha (RPG) - Version 2 - Beta 1 ]
Description: First off, this was developed in Dev c++ 4.9.9.0, but it should work on any compiler becuase I made any non-standard functions myself. This is a color, ascii based rpg game. It is still in the earlier stages of developements and I am sure there are plenty of mistakes in the current code. Please send me a message with any errors, suggestions, or comments! It is much appreciated.
The map is not finished being designed yet and is only 9 tiles large. I will be expanding this greatly. The game if pretty complex, the armors, shields, helms, and weapons have various attributes. Many things can affect your heroes stats and different percentages (like chance to run, chance to block, etc). However, many, many parts of the game are not fully functional yet. It still needs a bit of work. I have not worked on this for awhile, but I plan to start finishing it again soon becuase I have already put in many hours developing it. Please let me know what you think. Also...I plan on eventually changing it into a win32 program and use better graphics...but don't expect that anytime soon. When compiling and running, make sure that all of the files are in the same folder!
Notes: Version 1.0 was done in C, using structures. It was all text based. Before releasing it, I decided to swtich it to c++ and then I expanded a lot on it, such as making the ascii map to move around (also making it Version 2 - Beta 1). Beta 2 will be released sometime...with a more completed map and overall system.
