一．安装<br>
安装需要四张光盘，你下rhel-3-i386-as-disc1.iso至disc4.iso这四个光盘镜像就够用了.还有一个是文档（rhel -3-docs-apac.iso),可有可无(这是常见的版本完整的还有三张源码盘,另外一张文档)．下载后参照下面md5码校验一下，确保正确再刻盘，不然的话有可能浪费你的CDR哦！<br>

附2．MD5码的校验方法<br>
a.windows下，到google上搜一个windMD5.exe的软件．运行它，然后把你下载的iso文件往它的窗口中一拖，就会给你运算了．过一会算完了，把它运算出的结果和上述md5码对照，如果不一致就说明你下载过程某个环节有问题，你就重新下载吧！<br>
b.linux下有md5sum完成上述工作．另外你可以在安装时来检验介质，不过那时如果有问题已经浪费了CDR了．我就浪费了一张<br>
附3．刻录注意事项<br>
现在的刻录机都支持高速刻录(52x)，但刻录盘一般只有40x的，不要用太高的速度刻，否则刻的盘片可能第二张不好用．windows下一般用nero来刻录，选择刻录映象文件．然后找到你的iso文件就可以开始刻录了，不要解开再刻，否则不能光盘引导了！<br>
然后安装过程和前面的版本略有不同，第一张盘基本上只是一个安装引导盘（可能是向其它的unix类系统看齐吧），另外安装到第四张盘后还会再要第一张盘来安装引导信息．<br>
二、共享windows资源<br>
前一段时间，一至有朋友问linux下如何共享windows的打印机，当时自己也没有这方面的经验，这次成功的共享到了win98上的hp激光打印机，把步骤给朋友们写一下。<br>
1.cp /etc/samba/smb.conf /etc/samba/smb.conf.bak<br>
2.vi /etc/samba/smb.conf<br>
/security<br>
设置security=share（如果你想让别人访问你时输入用户名密码的话就设为security=user)<br>
在它上面有一句workgroup=*你把它改为network=你的工作组名或者你的域名，我的是对等网就设为了工作组名zstz。<br>
然后打印机部分只修改一处。<br>
guest ok=yes<br>
然后增加一句:printer driver= HP LaserJet 1100.(根据你的打印机的实际情况，我的是1150，但rhas3.0中只能认出1100和1200及1100A，只好选用这个型号）修改完的这部分如下：<br>
[printes]<br>
path = /var/spool/samba<br>
writeable = no<br>
guest ok = yes<br>
printable = yes<br>
printer driver = HP LaserJet 1100<br>
然后保存退出。<br>
3.service smb start<br>
4.运行redhat-config-printer-gui<br>
新增一个打印机<br>
类型选择为"windows共享smb"(默认是本地打印机)，然后就可以看到windows上共享出来的打印机了，选择要共享的打印机hp。点下一步。然后就添加上了。然后点编辑，它默认的驱动是标准的驱动不能打印。选择和你的打印机匹配的驱动。我的就选择为hp Laserjet 1100了。<br>
好了，大功告成了！可以使用win98下的打印机了！
由于近期比较忙，暂时只做了这样一个比较简单的事儿，等忙过这一阵子。再给大家写一些服务的文档。希望对大家能有所帮助。
