使用说明<br>
本文介绍了在Acer Altos R700上安装Oracle8i，操作系统为Linux8.0。Oracle8i 的版本号为8.1.7.0.1。<br>
安装环境<br>
机型：Acer Altos R700/R701<br>
操作系统：Redhat 8.0 (内核为 2.4.18-14/2.4.18-14)<br>
软件：Oracle8i (版本号：8.1.7.0.1)<br>
随机附件：<br>
(1)oracle_bash_profile (放于/home/oracle/.bash_profile)<br>
(2)oracle8i(放于/etc/rc.d/init.d目录)<br>

<br>
安装 RH Linux 8.0<br>
1. 安装类型: Custom。<br>
2. 分区格式：Automatic Partitioning(自动)<br>
3. 引导类型：Use GRUB as the boot loader (默认设置).<br>
4. 网络设置：(在安装 Oracle8i之前，应配置主机名及网卡地址)<br>
a. 配置网卡地址(例：192.168.1.2 /255.255.255.0 或使用DHCPt服务器)<br>
b. 设置主机名(例:设为R700)<br>
c. 设置安全等级:No Firewall.<br>
5. 组件选择<br>
a. Desktops: X Window system , GNOME Desktop Environment<br>
b. Application (默认设置但不包括 video and sound): Graphical Internet, Text-based Internet, Office/Produtivity, Graphics。<br>
c. Server (各类服务类型但不包括SQL Database)<br>
d. Development: Development<br>
e. System: Admin tools , System Tools, Printing support<br>
f. 在 Select individual packages 选项前打勾。进入 Individual Package Selection界面. 有两种风格选项：Treeview 和Flatview 。默认为TreeView。<br>
