使用realplay插件 <br>
1、打开 Mozilla ，选择 编辑->首选项(alt+e+e). 然后选择浏览器-》助手应用程序； <br>
2 、在右侧的文件类型窗口中，选择“新建类型”,然后添加以下入口选项。<br>
分别是类型描述/文件类型/MIME类型/关联的打开程序(此处为realplay)<br>

以上为添加的一些相关类型。<br>
3、单击OK按钮完成设置。关闭 Mozilla，从Xwindows系统注销，然后startx，重新打开mozilla,试着现在本地打开一个 .ra 或者 .ram 文件，可以看到有浏览器的提示框，让你选择可以用realplay打开文件，之后就可以OK了。<br>
在线的情况，当打开URL的时候，有些可以使用，有些不行。<br>
添加的内容信息会在，~/.mozilla/default/ijv3wsot.slt/mimeTypes.rdf 看到，由于netscaple浏览器支持xml，因此其配置文件数据格式很多为xml。<br>
<br>
另外，由于平时在网上搜集论文或者文档，很多国外得文章一般为pdf格式或是postscript格式，因此在点击此种URL时，很希望能用相关的工具立即打开。<br>
这里是偶试验学习的一些情况，也是从高人那里学来的。<br>
如何使netscape或者mozilla浏览器能打开关联的pdf文档？<br>
1 、分别编辑~/.mime.types和~/.mailcap文件<br>
2 、添加 application/pdf pdf 到文件.mime.types，此文件包含通用的传输资源格式的MIME定义描述<br>
3 、添加# Use xpdf to view PDF files. <br>
application/pdf; xpdf -err %s到.mailcap，这个文件定义那种资源格式，关联的打开工具。<br>
当浏览器打开一个指向.pdf文档的URL时，浏览器会提示是否用xpdf打开改文件，当然也可以关联ggvKghostview。类似的情况都可以关联。包括.ps文档等。只是改写pdf为postsript, <br>
