① 重新编译内核：<br>
目前版本的redhat已经支持ipv6（ 2.0.x 后的 kernel 版本都支持ipv6），不过在默认情况下都没有编译。因此，我们需要经过以下步骤才能让机器的 kernel 支持 ipv6。具体步骤如下：<br>
make menuconfig;<br>
在可选菜单的网络选项中，选上支持 ipv6。<br>
make; make bzImage;<br>
make modules; make modules_install<br>
把./arch/i386/boot/bzImage拷贝到一个目录，如/boot 下。<br>
修改 /etc/lilo.conf文件，用新的编译过的内核启动。<br>

② 安装ipv6的相关工具软件：<br>
在内核支持 ipv6 的前提下，还需要安装ipv6下的相应软件，这主要有两个：<br>
第一是：net-tools-1.52.tar.gz 其安装过程如下：<br>
把该软件包解压缩到一个目录，一般在/usr/src目录 <br>
#tar xzf net-tools-1.52.tar.gz -C /usr/src <br>
进入该软件包解压缩后的目录: <br>
#cd net-tools-1.52 <br>
make clean; <br>
make config;<br>
make; make install <br>
第二是：iputils-ss000418.tar.gz 其安装过程如下：<br>
把该软件包解压缩到一个目录(可以是任何目录)，一般可以在/usr/local/src目录 <br>
#tar xzf iputils-ss000418.tar.gz -C /usr/local/src <br>
进入该软件包解压缩后的目录: <br>
#cd iputils <br>
make clean; <br>
make;<br>

安装成功，重新启动之后，使用 ifconfig -a 应该如果可以看到一个 inet6 的 local link地址，就可以宣告（大功告成！）<br>

▲ 在两台支持ipv6的redhat机器上建立tunnel <br>
<br>
要想在两台或多台（这里只介绍两台ipv6主机之间如何建立tunnel）之间建立tunnel，必须要知道自己和对方的v4地址以及想对应的v6地址。下面就以我们的实验环境为例来说明如何建立tunnel.<br>

主机A的配置如下：202.112.96.94 (v4) 3ffe:3201:1800:1::7 (v6)<br>
主机B的配置如下： 202.112.10.142 (v4) 3ffe:3201:1800:2::7 (v6)<br>
<br>
在主机A上执行如下命令：/sbin/ifconfig sit0 inet6 tunnel ::202.112.10.142（为B的v6兼容地址）<br>

/sbin/ifconfig sit1 up<br>
/sbin/ifconfig sit1 add 3ffe:3201:1800:1::7/64(为A中tunnel的v6入口地址)<br>
/sbin/route -A inet6 add 3ffe:3201:1800:2::7/64(tunnel对方的v6地址，这里是B中的v6入口地址) sit1 <br>

#default route<br>
/sbin/route -A inet6 add 3ffe::/16 gw 3ffe:3201:1800:2::7/64 (tunnel对方的v6地址，这里是B中的v6入口地址) sit1 <br>
<br>
在主机B上执行相应的操作。之后可以在主机A上通过命令：<br>
ping6 3ffe:3201:1800:2::7<br>
来查看tunnel是否成功。 <br>
