First tests are running OK (ping and webserver).<br><br><li><b>2001-10-09</b> Jason Morgan announced that he has ported lwIP tothe Infineon C166 (ST10) platform with a SMsC LAN91C96 (or LAN91C94)Ethernet module. The Keil compiler was used.<br><br><li><b>2001-10-09</b> Hongsong Li just announced that lwIP has beensuccessfully ported to the 8051, based on uC/OS 1.09. Both uC/OS andlwIP are compiled using the Keil C51 6.14 C compiler. Since theresulting code size is rather large (60k for lwIP + uC/OS), it isprobably more suited for a demo rather than for an actual product.<br><br><li><b>2001-10-08</b> The <a href="mailinglist.html">lwIP mailinglist</a>is started.<br><br><li><b>2001-10-08</b> <a href="download.html">Version 0.4.1</a>released. This release is a bugfix release and fixes a lot of bugsfrom previous releases. <br><br> <li><b>2001-10-02</b> A lot of bugs in verion 0.4 have been corrected andversion 0.4.1 will be released in the nearest week.<br><br><li><b>2001-06-21</b> lwIP version 0.4 released. This release contains anew memory subsystem; instead of allocating memory from a shared heap,objects that are frequently allocated and deallocated are now kept inmemory pools. The memory and buffer subsystems now have support for4- and 2-byte aligned memory. lwIP 0.4 has also been tested and rununder the RTXC real-time kernel. <ahref="http://lwip-demo.sics.se/">lwip-demo.sics.se</a> is running lwIP0.4.<br><br><li><b>2001-06-20</b> lwIP is now online! The <ahref="http://bart.sm.luth.se/eis2001/">EIS2001 student project</a> at<a href="http://www.luth.se/">Luleå University</a> have donatedsome hardware on which lwIP is running a web server. It is accessiblethrough the URL <ahref="http://lwip-demo.sics.se/">http://lwip-demo.sics.se</a>.<br><br> <li><b>2001-06-12</b> The <ahref="http://bart.sm.luth.se/eis2001/">EIS2001 student project</a>built a board with a <ahref="http://www.mitsubishichips.com/products/mcu/products/m16c/index.html">Mitsubishi M16</a> CPU with 10k on-chip RAM and a single-chip <ahref="http://www.crystal.com/design/products/overview/index.cfm?DivisionID=4&SubdivisionID=19&ProductID=46">CS8900AEthernet controller</a>. lwIP has been successfully ported to thisplatform.<br><br><li><b>2001-04-25</b> lwIP was successfully demonstrated on the <ahref="http://www.sics.se/openhouse2001/">SICS Open House 2001</a>. Weequipped pulse sensors with a M16 microprocessor and a <ahref="http://www.bluetooth.com/">Bluetooth</a> chip and distributedpulse sensor data using TCP/IP.<br><br><li><b>2001-03-01</b> <a href="download.html">Version 0.3.1</a>released. This is mainly a bugfix release which fixes a few bugs inthe TCP congestion control, window updates and retransmissions.<br><br><li><b>2001-02-27</b> <a href="download.html">Version 0.3</a>released. This release includes a new and improved directorystructure, better error handling, better stability when run with verytight memory constraints, many TCP bug fixes, and more comments havebeen added to the code.
