带源程序的免费软件 通过ECP端口在两台电脑间高速传送文件的程序。速度可达到600K/S.

This program is totaly freeware.  The next version should be in DMA!  In DMA I should reach up to 1Mb a second!  This program only reaches 500kb a second (in SPP I reached 14Kb a second).  Because this is freeware it is intended to stay freeware, so the only thing you can't do is sell it.  At the moment I'm trying to do a DMA transfer in Delphi3, but I need to catch an interrupt too (thanx to Mr Gates it is not easy to do and I know absolutely nothing about VxD).  So it will take a while before I will accomplish that.  Still working on the dos-version though and I hope to get it working soon (DMA!!!).  Both Delphi and dos versions should be compatible with each other (except for the long filenames)!

Very, very usefull info on ECP-ports:
  ecp_reg.pdf (a cover letter from Microsoft, at least one thing they did well)

The easiest and most secure way to do it is to buy a 'switch box'.  It's a DB25 male to DB25 male connector in a kind of small box.  Open the box and switch the necessary wires.  Now you can use any ordinary parallel cable (DB25 male to DB25 female cable)!

Things to do:
  DMA in dos
  DMA in Delphi (hard one, because of the ISR)
  multiple file transfer (got already an Progressbar for it)
