RainbowCrack 1.1 readme

RainbowCrack is an instant windows password cracker based on Philippe Oechslin<http://lasecwww.epfl.ch/philippe.shtml>'s faster time-memory trade-off technique<http://lasecwww.epfl.ch/php_code/publications/search.php?ref=Oech03>.

System requirements
Operating System:	any windows
CPU:			the faster the better
Memory:			> 128MB recommended

View rcrackdemo.htm to find out the power of RainbowCrack.
Read Philippe Oechslin's paper for details of the theory.
Read rcracktutorial.htm if this is the first time you use RainbowCrack.
Read customcharset.htm to customize the charset of rainbow table.

Compatibility issues
rcrack.exe version 1.1 support all generated/sorted rainbow tables by earlier versions(1.0 and 1.01).
rcrack.exe in earlier versions(1.0 and 1.01) may not properly recognize the rainbow tables with custom charset generated by rtgen.exe version 1.1.
