WWWcam 是一个从基于视频设备的Webcam中抓图

WWWCAM is an all in one webcam solution.

- For Quickinstall type make and you should get the wwwcam binary. You need libjpeg62, libcurl and the development files for these libs.

- make install copies all files you need to bin/. You can delete everything except this dir.

- Configure everything in wwwcam.conf.0 and run wwwcam.

- WWWcam looks for configfile ./wwwcam.conf.0 and /etc/wwwcam.conf.0 in this order. Then it checks for more configfiles untill wwwcam.conf.3
You can use several wwwcam.confs which are executed parallel. So you can grab multiple cameras, or same camera with different options (for example smaller resolution).
If you use this feature and copy wwwcam.conf.0 to wwwcam.conf.1 you have to change at least picpath and portnumber. Otherwise there will be conflicts and wwwcam will terminate.

- Start with wwwcam -v to see how brightness correction, picdiff and ftp upload work (when enabled).

- You get a logfile in wwwcam.log with time and ips of people connected to your cam.

- When wwwcam runs you get the file /tmp/wwwcam.pid with process id and /tmp/wwwcam.count.0 with actual framenumber.
You can use the framenumber to check if there was camera activity. Simple perl example monitor_room included.

- In dir www is a small java applet that reloads the pictures automatically. Copy it in your webservers subdir and configure index.html or index.cgi. Set applet parameters in index.html/index.cgi like your wwwcam session.
