<P>To DBGrid Or Not To DBGrid
<P>I am greatly confused.  I have a program that was created in Visual C 1.5 or earlier using a VBXEvent specifically a VBXControl using a grid.  I am currently using Visual C++ 5.0 and I am getting some 200+ errors when I compile using the Active X DBGrid in place of the old VBGrid.
<P>First I used 5.0 to open the old *.mak file and VC5.0 prompts me to update and I choose ok.
<P>Next deleted the old grid which VC5 did not recognize and called it a custom control.
<P>Next I inserted a Active X control &quot;DBGrid&quot; in place of the old VBGrid.  I realize that I will have to call in and out data differently using the DBGrid but I am getting errors with Font.h, Font.ccp, gridctrl.h, picture.h and msdgridctrl.h which are all files that are brought in with DBGrid and state in the beginning of each file &quot;Do not modify the controls of this file. If this class is regenerated by Microsoft Visual C++ your modifications will be overwritten&quot;. 
<BR>I have made sure that the DBGrid is registered with my system.
<BR>I have even created a new blank program using the DBGrid and did not get any errors.
<P>I don抰 want to rewrite the whole program it would be a nightmare.
<BR>What is my fastest fix ? 
<BR>If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
