<P>　　精确检索有两种方法，一种是用受控词表，另一种是用XML技术。</P><BR>

<P>　　自然语言检索的代表有Ask Jeeves、GoTo、InQuizit和LexiQuest等。使用这种检索工具时用户可以提出象“What is Jamestown?”、“When did Web searching start?”等诸如此类的问题。</P><BR>
<P>　　4）多语种检索（Multilingual）</P><BR>
<P>　　用户可以在检索结果中限制检索结果的语言。在<A href="http://www./archives/000089.html"><U><FONT color=#003366>AltaVista</FONT></U></A>、<A href="http://www./archives/000086.html"><U><FONT color=#003366>HotBot</FONT></U></A>、Excite、Infoseek/Go中都提供这种检索服务。其中Infoseek/Go还提供检索结果的自动翻译服务。</P><BR>
<P>　　5）多媒体检索（Multimedia Search）</P><BR>
<P>　　多媒体检索包括基于描述的多媒体检索和基于内容的多媒体检索。基于描述的多媒体检索就是用一个关键词来描述所要查找的图片或是音乐，比如可以用“classroom”这个词来查找教室的图片，也可以“spring”这个词在Lycos的MP3搜索引擎中查找相关音乐。基于内容的多媒体检索就是用一些视觉特征来查找多媒体信息，这些视觉特征包括颜色、形状、纹理等。</P><BR>
<P>　　6）过滤检索（Filtered Search）</P><BR>
<P>　　在检索中自动将一些网站信息过滤去掉，比如一些内容不健康的黄色网站信息，影响国家安全的政治反动网站信息等，这种检索服务技术受到父母们的欢迎，可以避免孩子们上网时受到不健康影响。</P><BR>
<P>　　7）智能检索（Intelligent Search）</P><BR>
<P>　　智能检索的含义就是检索系统能够自动地分析检索结果，为用户提供最满意的信息。</P><BR>
<P>　　8）检索结果修正（Search Midification）</P><BR>
<P>　　检索结果的修正就是在上一次检索结果的范围内调整检索方案，以期达到更精确的相关信息。</P><BR>
<P>　　9）检索结果排序（New Ranking/Selection Techniques）</P><BR>
<P>　　搜索引擎会自动分析查询到的页面，根据相关性算法将相关性最大的网页排在前面。</P><BR>
<P>　　10）提供最新收录的新站（Sites for Staying Current on Web Search Tools）</P><BR>
