                <td><P>据硅谷动力消息，在未来几个月里，IBM公司将推出一种新技术，IBM认为通过将有关人工智能的几种不同学术统一起来，这种技术将会极大地改进计算机读取和使用数据的方式。 </P><A name=more></A>
<P>IBM正在研究的这项新技术名为“未系统化的信息管理架构”(UIMA)，这是一种基于XML的数据读取架构。IBM公司服务和软件业务部门副总裁Alfred Spector表示，UIMA将大大扩展和增强数据库背后所依赖的数据读取技术。 　　　　他说：“UIMA将成为数据库的一部分，或者更有可能的是，它将成为数据库所读取的东西。利用它你可以随时掌握情况，可以更有效地改动自动化或手动控制的系统。” 　　　　一旦被纳入到系统中去，UIMA将可以使汽车获得并显示出实时的交通状况和高速公路平均车速等信息，也可以让工厂自己控制燃料消耗和优化生产计划。同时，自动化的语言翻译和自然语言处理功能也将成为可能。 　　　　UIMA所依赖的是“合并假设”理论，这种理论宣称，统计机器学习技术(搜索引擎所依赖的一种智能技术)、人工智能语法以及其它的人工智能技术在不久的将来就可以融合在一起。 　　　　Spector说：“如果我们平行应用各种不同的人工智能理论所提出的技术，我们将可以成倍地减少出错率。我们将对合并假设理论进行实际运用，今年这方面将会取得一系列成果。我想，在未来几年人们使用的技术中你就可以看到这些成功，这并不需要太长的时间。”他还补充说：“尽管纳斯达克指数已经从高峰跌了下来，但这种进步在未来必将超过已取得的成就。” </P></td>
