On HP-UX, partiallinking is not known to work, so <CODE>libtool</CODE> extracts the objectsfrom the convenience library, and links them directly into<TT>`libhello'</TT>. That is, <TT>`libhello'</TT> is comprised of its ownobjects <EM>and</EM> the objects in <TT>`libtrim'</TT>.
