Instead,the book will attempt to help you understand any macro you encounterand, instead, influence how you approach software portability andpackage building. The GNU manual for each tool should be consultedas a reference.</P><P>This book briefly introduces pertinent concepts, but does not attempt toteach them comprehensively.
